BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second consecutive year, Boston University women's soccer forward
Morgan Fagan and midfielder
Giulianna Gianino were named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.
In 12 seasons as a Patriot League member, BU has accumulated 16 Academic All-Patriot League spots. Fagan earns a spot on the team for the third year in a row, becoming the first Terrier in program history to receive Academic All-Patriot League recognition three times. Gianino's honor is her second as a Terrier.
Fagan was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team in 2024 after scoring a goal and an assist in all 18 regular season matches. The senior ranks 20th in the program annals with 37 points, and is an All-Patriot League honoree for three seasons in a row. Fagan is pursuing a degree in business administration & management from the Questrom School of Business.
Gianino gained All-Patriot League first team honors for the second-consecutive season after leading the Terriers with eight goals and four assists. The Norwell, Mass. product has totaled 45 points in her career, good for a share of 13th place in program history. Gianino is enrolled in Sargent College at BU, majoring in human physiology.
BU's next game is in the Patriot League semifinal round as the No. 2-seed, hosting No. 3-seed Army West Point on Thursday (Nov. 7) at 6 p.m.
