Women’s Beanpot Final Round Returns to TD Garden; Semifinals to Take Place at Northeastern

BOSTON – The final round of the Women's Beanpot will return to TD Garden this January and the semifinals of this year's tournament will be played at Northeastern University's Matthews Arena, as announced Tuesday.
The semifinals of the 46th annual Women's Beanpot will be played on Tuesday, Jan. 14, while the final and consolation game will take place at TD Garden on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Last season, BU played in the first-ever Women's Beanpot championship game at TD Garden in front of a crowd of 10,633, the largest to ever watch a women's hockey game in New England.
BU will face Harvard in the first semifinal at Matthews Arena at 4:30 p.m. while Northeastern and Boston College will play at 7:30 p.m. The consolation game at TD Garden will start at 4:30 p.m. while the championship game will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the semifinals can be purchased here. Students from the four participating schools get in free with their student ID. Tickets for the games at TD Garden can be purchased at this link.
With renovations entering their final phase, the Terriers are on schedule to officially reopen Walter Brown Arena when they host Holy Cross on Saturday, Jan. 25.
