The No. 15/20 Boston University men's lacrosse team will continue its 2024 season on Friday when the Terriers welcome Bryant to Nickerson Field. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU improved to 2-0 with an 18-8 victory over Vermont on Saturday at Nickerson.
- Graduate students Louis Perfetto and Vince D'Alto combined for 11 goals and six assists against the Catamounts en route to establishing new program records.
- D'Alto became the program's all-time leading point producer, breaking the previous record of 215 set by Timmy Ley last season.
- D'Alto matched his and Ley's single-game program record of seven goals and also added two assists to finish Saturday with nine points.
- Perfetto's second of four assists on the day set a new program standard of 103 career assists, and he also notched four goals to finish the afternoon with eight points, which matches a career high.
- D'Alto now has 220 points (136g, 84a) while Perfetto is at 196 points (91g, 105a).
- When Perfetto scores his 100th career goal and D'Alto records his 100th career assist, they will be the first players in program history to reach both 100 goals and 100 assists.
- D'Alto (Offensive Player of the Week), junior Will Barnes (Goalkeeper of the Week) and graduate student Patrick Morrison (Defensive Player of the Week) all earned weekly awards from the Patriot League.
- Graduate student Roy Meyer and D'Alto were both named to the Tewaaraton Watch List on Wednesday.
- Morrison is fourth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.50) while BU is second in the country as a team in that category (15.50).
HISTORY AGAINST BRYANT
- The Terriers are 5-1 all-time against Bryant in a series that dates back to 2017.
- BU has won two straight against the Bulldogs, including a thrilling 16-15 comeback win in overtime last season in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
- The Terriers are 3-0 against Bryant at Nickerson Field, including a 13-8 victory in 2022 that featured a snow squall during the third quarter.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- Bryant, the defending America East Tournament champion and a 2023 NCAA Tournament participant after a 12-5 season, started its 2024 campaign with a 15-13 win at Providence this past Saturday.
- Kevin Groeninger, who scored 38 goals and led Bryant with 30 assists and 68 points a year ago, paced the Bulldogs with four goals, Jack Lonsinger (42g, 2a last year) tallied three goals and one assist and Johnny Hackett (41g, 13a) recorded two goals and two assists.
- Aidan Goltz, who led Bryant with 45 goals and added 15 assists for 60 points in 2023, tallied two goals against the Friars.
- Nathan Laliberte, who ranked 15th in the nation last season (.594), won 19 of 30 faceoffs against the Friars, picking up 12 ground balls and securing one assist as well.
- Drew Lucas collected four ground balls and caused two turnovers against Providence.
- Lucas and Tanner Alexander combined for 103 ground balls and 47 caused turnovers a year ago.
- Teagan Alexander started all 17 games for Bryant last year and posted a .486 save percentage; he stopped eight of the 21 shots on goal he faced at PC.
