BOSTON – Facing its second military academy of the week, the Boston University men's basketball team welcomes Navy to Case Gym on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU has bounced between a win and loss over the last seven games, most recently earning a road split with 77-62 victory at Bucknell and 65-50 loss at Army West Point.
- The Terriers are 5-6 at home after opening in February with a split, posting 72-71 win over Lehigh and coming up short to defending PL champion Colgate, 74-64.
- Senior Miles Brewster leads BU in scoring at 10.4 ppg with 3.2 apg and 1.5 spg, while sophomore Otto Landrum (8.5 ppg) owns a team-high 5.8 rpg alongside 20 blocks.
- Three-time PL Rookie of the Week Kyrone Alexander tallied a season-high 19 points at Bucknell and is nearly tied with junior Ethan Okwuosa in both scoring (7.8 ppg - 7.6 ppg) and rebounding (4.3 rpg - 4.1 rpg).

SCOUTING NAVY
- The Midshipmen are 1-11 on the road compared to their 7-5 home mark, picking up its lone road victory at Holy Cross back in January, 80-70.
- Navy has lost its last seven games with three being decided by single digits, including a 69-67 overtime loss at Army last Saturday.
- 5-foot-10 guard Austin Benigni leads the Mids at 15.8 ppg with 6-foot-5 forward Donovan Draper in second at 9.4 ppg alongside a team-high 9.3 rpg, 2.2 spg and 15 blocks.
- Navy ranks ninth nationally in turnover margin (4.6), committing just 10.2 miscues a game.
- The Mids are averaging 68.2 ppg and 40.2 FG% while holding opponents to 63.3 ppg and 40.2 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU leads the all-time series, 12-11, dating back to 1959.
- The Midshipmen though have won the last six meetings, including a 2022 PL semifinal victory in OT, with BU last winning in 2020 during the PL quarterfinals.
- In the last meeting at Navy back on Jan. 3, the Midshipmen overcame a 29-23 halftime deficit by shooting 52.0 FG% in the second half and holding BU to 32.0 FG% to claim a 62-60 victory.
- The Mids won the last contest at Case Gym a year prior, 75-58.
