The Boston University men's lacrosse team will continue its 2024 season on Saturday when the Terriers host Navy at Nickerson Field in the Patriot League opener for both squads. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Saturday will be the Terriers' homecoming game, as alumni from both the club and varsity eras return to Nickerson Field. Fans will also be able to enjoy a beer garden at Saturday's game.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU has not played since Feb. 20, when the Terriers earned a 16-10 road win over Brown.
- Graduate student Louis Perfetto matched a program record with seven goals and and added two assists for a career-high nine points.
- Perfetto became the first Terrier in program history to record 100 goals and 100 assists with his seventh and final goal of the day.
- Named to the USILA D1 Team of the Week, Perfetto enters PL play as the conference leader in points per game (7.0, 2nd in NCAA), goals per game (4.25, 3rd in NCAA) and assists per game (2.75, 14th in NCAA).
- Graduate student Patrick Morrison recorded a career-high six caused turnovers at Brown and is the NCAA leader in that category with 14.
- Morrison was named PL Defensive Player of the Week while junior Matthew Fritz earned PL Faceoff Specialist of the Week accolades after going 10-of-13 with five ground balls and a goal against the Bears.
- BU is once again first in the nation with 15.5 caused turnovers per game through four games.
- The Terriers have held opponents to a .776Â clearing percentage, which is seventh-best in the country and second in the Patriot League.
- Junior Brenden Kelly set new career highs in goals (4) and points (5) at Brown.
- The Terriers' starting attack unit of Perfetto, Kelly and graduate student Vince D'Alto combined for 13 of the Terriers' 16 goals at Brown.
HISTORY AGAINST NAVY
- BU is 3-5 all-time against Navy, including a 2-2 record at Nickerson Field.
- The Terriers lost last year's contest in Annapolis, 10-8, but earned a 17-9 home win in 2022 when the teams last faced off at Nickerson.Â
- Six of the past seven games between BU and Navy have been decided by two goals or fewer.
SCOUTING THE MIDS
- Navy enters the conference portion of its schedule at 2-2 after a 13-3 loss to Penn State last Saturday in Annapolis.
- The Mids began the year 2-0 with wins over Mount St. Mary's (19-8) and Hofstra (16-8), but suffered a 17-5 setback to Towson before the defeat to Penn State.
- Senior Xavier Arline leads Navy in goals (7), assists (3) and points (10).
- Senior Max Hewitt (5g, 1a) and sophomore Jack Flaherty (4g, 2a) are tied for second on the squad with six points apiece.
- Senior Jackson Bonitz leads Navy with nine caused turnovers and is tied for second with 14 ground balls, behind only freshman faceoff specialist Zach Hayashi.Â
- Hayashi is 53-of-89 (.596) at the X with 19 ground balls.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Dan Daly has started all four games for Navy, posting a .518 save percentage and a 10.89 goals-against average.
