The Boston University men's lacrosse team will continue its 2024 season on Friday when the Terriers host No. 1 Army West Point at Nickerson Field. Opening faceoff for Team IMPACT Day is scheduled for 6 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here and the game will also be streamed live on ESPN+.

TERRIER TIDBITS

• This is the second time BU has ever faced the No. 1 team in the country, with the first time being at Loyola Maryland in 2014.
• The Terriers last hosted a top-five team in 2019 when they defeated No. 2 Loyola, 18-11.
• BU improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the Patriot League with a 12-10 victory at Loyola last Saturday.
• PL Goalkeeper of the Week Will Barnes made a career-high 21 saves.
• He became the third different Terrier goalkeeper to record over 20 saves, with his mark of 21 stops now third all-time behind Terrier legends Christian Carson Banister (25 saves vs. Duke, 5/4/14) and Joe McSorley (24 saves at Providence, 3/3/19).

HISTORY AGAINST ARMY WEST POINT

• BU is 4-8 against Army West Point, but the Terriers have won two straight against the Black Knights, including a 12-11 victory in West Point last year.
• The Terriers won their last meeting with the Black Knights on Nickerson Field, defeating Army, 14-10, in the 2022 Patriot League title game.
• Two of the last three games have been decided by just one goal.
• The Terriers' other home win against Army West Point was an 8-7 thriller in 2018.
