The Boston University men's lacrosse team will continue its 2024 season on Saturday when the Terriers host Bucknell at Nickerson Field. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers will look to rebound after a 16-9 home loss to Navy last Saturday in their Patriot League opener.
- Junior Brenden Kelly led the Terriers with three goals while graduate student Vince D'Alto (1g, 2a) and senior Tommy Bourque (2g, 1a) recorded three points apiece.
- Sophomore Connor Kehm recorded career highs with four caused turnovers and five ground balls against the Mids.
- Junior Trey Brown also notched five ground balls in addition to causing two turnovers and assisting on senior Tommy Jepson's goal.
- Graduate students Louis Perfetto and Jake Cates also found the back of the net last weekend while junior Will Barnes made 14 saves.
- Perfetto leads the Patriot League in goals per game (3.60) and points per game (5.80) and is tied with D'Alto for the conference lead in assists per game (2.20).
- Kelly has scored seven goals over the past two games.
- Kehm is tied for the team lead with 15 ground balls and is second on the squad with 11 caused turnovers, just three behind graduate student Patrick Morrison.
HISTORY AGAINST BUCKNELL
- BU is 6-4 all-time against Bucknell, including five straight wins.
- That streak began with a thrilling comeback win in Lewisburg, as BU rallied for a 12-11 Patriot League quarterfinal victory over the then-No. 10 Bison in 2018.
- BU has averaged 13.0 goals per game during its five-game win streak against Bucknell.
- The Terriers are 4-1 against the Bison at Nickerson Field, including a 12-7 victory in 2022.
SCOUTING THE BISON
- Bucknell began Patriot League play with a 12-9 home win over Holy Cross last Saturday.
- Holy Cross tied the game, 9-9, with 9:04 remaining in regulation, but junior Cam Doolan broke the deadlock with 6:26 to go.
- Doolan finished with four goals while junior Connor Davis scored five of his team-best 16 goals.
- Davis paces the Bison with 17 points (16g, 1a) while Doolan (8g, 5a) and sophomore Michael Meyer (6g, 7a) are tied for second on the squad with 13 points apiece.
- Senior Brendan Coyle leads Bucknell with 33 ground balls and is 60-for-119 (.504) at the faceoff X this season.
- Sophomore LSM John Young and senior defender Duncan Hill lead the Bison with six caused turnovers each.
- Junior goalkeeper Max Nolan has played all five games for Bucknell, starting four.
- He owns a 13.22 goals-against average and a .429 save percentage,
- Sophomore goalkeeper Jaz Zanelli has started one of his three appearances this year, posting a 13.42 goals-against average and a .379 save percentage.
- Nolan started the Holy Cross game and made one save in 32:05 of work before Zanelli came on and stopped five shots.
