The Boston University men's lacrosse team will conclude the 2024 regular season on Friday when the Terriers travel to Hamilton, N.Y., to face No. 20 Colgate. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

WHAT'S AT STAKE ON FRIDAY?

  • BU will be playing in a Patriot League quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday.
  • A win against Colgate guarantees BU will be either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed and will either host Colgate or Navy on Tuesday.
  • A loss means BU will finish sixth and be on the road for Tuesday's quarterfinal.
  • A lot is on the line for Colgate as well, as the Raiders will clinch the No. 1 seed with a win and a loss by either Navy or Lehigh.
  • If Colgate, Navy and Lehigh all win, then Colgate will host BU again on Tuesday in a quarterfinal.

  • BU is third in the NCAA and second in the Patriot League with 11.08 caused turnovers per game.
