EASTON, Mass. - The Boston University track & field team concluded its regular season slate at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational on Saturday. The Terriers set five Top-10 Terrier marks and recorded 10 top-three finishes.

Top-10 Terriers

• Junior Cole Tucker threw for 18.26m (59' 11") in the shot put to set the second-best mark in BU history.
• Also in shot put, junior Gabe Hickman threw 17.78m (58' 4") to keep the fourth-ranked mark with the PR.
• Senior Katherine George kept the ninth-best mark in BU history in the hammer with a PR toss of 46.54m (152' 8").
• Freshman Carly Sarisky threw a new personal best of 32.09m (105' 3") in the javelin to keep the No. 9 BU all-time mark.
• Sophomore Madison Sorrell set the tenth-best BU mark in the shot put with a throw of 13.20m (43' 3.75").

Top Performers

• Freshman Obiageli Akubude ran 25.32 in the 200m to win the event.
• Senior Sam Dennerlein placed first in the discus with a throw of 44.17m (144' 11").
• George also took first in the discus, throwing for 43.80m (143' 8").
• Junior Kiana Lino threw for 13.93m (45' 8.5") in shot put to take first.
• Senior Dakota Jackson placed second in the 100m with a time of 10.56.
• Senior Marcela Perches ran 4:49.96 in the 1500m to place third.

Up Next

• BU will head to Bucknell next weekend for the Patriot League Championships which will start Friday, May 3.
