
No. 11 Terriers, No. 19/18 UNH to Begin Weekend Series Friday on NESN, ESPN+

The No. 11 Boston University men's ice hockey team will continue Hockey East play this weekend when the Terriers face No. 19/18 New Hampshire in a home-and-home series that begins Friday night at Whittemore Center before concluding on Saturday at Agganis Arena. Puck drop on Friday is set for 7 p.m., with Saturday's showdown slated to start at 6 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers enter the weekend alone in second place in the Hockey East standings, just one point behind Maine and three ahead of Boston College and UConn.
- BU swept a weekend series with Vermont this past weekend at Agganis Arena, earning a 6-1 win on Friday and a 7-4 victory on Saturday.
- Junior Quinn Hutson was named Hockey East Player of the Week after he led BU with five points on three goals and two assists, including a pair of goals in Friday's victory.
- Junior Ryan Greene and sophomore Jack Harvey also finished the weekend with five points, as each skater totaled two goals and three assists.
- Freshman Cole Eiserman was electric on Saturday, recording his first collegiate hat trick as part of a four-point night.
- Eiserman leads all NCAA freshmen with 12 goals and is fourth among the nation's rookies in points per game (1.06).
- The Newburyport, Mass., native ranks second among all Hockey East freshmen with 19 points (12g, 7a).
- Hutson is on a four-game goal streak, totaling six goals and adding four assists for 10 points during that span.
- He has recorded a point in six of his last seven games and currently leads BU in goals (10), assists (13) and points (23), in addition to being fourth in the NCAA and first in Hockey East with 1.35 points per game.
- Senior Jack Hughes was outstanding in the Terriers' weekend sweep of Vermont, scoring in both games for his first two goals of the season.
- Hughes also had two helpers on Saturday and enters this weekend's series on a four-game point streak, having totaled six points (2g, 4a) in that span.
- BU went 6-of-6 on the penalty kill across the two wins over UVM.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Terriers and Wildcats have played 193 times since the 1924-25 season, and BU holds a decided advantage, 119-53-21 (.671).
- That includes a 19-12-6 (.595) record at Whittemore Center.
- BU had a 12-game win streak and a 16-game unbeaten streak against the Wildcats snapped last October; the Terriers are now 16-1-2 in their last 19 contests against the Wildcats.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- UNH fell to 10-6-3 overall and 2-5-2 in league play after being swept in a home-and-home series with UConn this past weekend.
- Prior to that sweep, the Wildcats were 6-0-1 in their last seven games dating back to Nov. 29.
- Sophomore Ryan Conmy leads UNH in goals (10) and points (20).
- Senior Liam Devlin is second on the squad with 18 points (7g, 11a) while junior Cy LeClerc is third with 17 points thanks to five goals and a team-high 12 assists.
- Junior goaltender Jared Whale, a transfer from Alaska Anchorage, has started all 19 games in his first season with the Wildcats.
- He owns a 2.21 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage along with three shutouts.
