BOSTON – The No. 13/14 Boston University women's ice hockey team (11-5-1, 9-2-1 HE) returns for the second half of the season when it travels to Holy Cross (7-9-1, 3-7-1 HE) on Friday (Jan. 3). The first Turnpike Trophy game of the season is scheduled for 6 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU ended the first half with a 3-1 win at Maine in December.
- Graduate student Tamara Giaquinto, junior Riley Walsh and graduate student Lindsay Bochna all scored in the win.
- Giaquinto's goal came on the power play, bringing her season total of power-play goals to four which leads Hockey East.
- Bochna's goal was scored on a short-handed empty net chance for her first short-handed goal of the season.
- Senior Maggie Hanzel, freshman Keira Healey and junior Maeve Carey all logged assists in the win.

- The Terriers have the second-best scoring offense in the league and the 11th best in the NCAA.

- Over the break, sophomore Alex Law played on Canada's Development Team in the Six Nations Tournament. She scored a goal in the semifinals and another in the gold medal game.
