COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sophomores Kamil Bednarik, Cole Eiserman and Cole Hutson, along with future Terrier Brady Knowling, have all been named to the United States' roster for the 2026 World Junior Championship, USA Hockey announced on Wednesday.
Eiserman and Hutson were key pieces of the U.S. roster that claimed gold at the 2025 World Junior Championship. Hutson set Team USA's single-tournament scoring record for a defenseman and also became the first defensemen to lead the World Junior Championship in scoring, as he totaled three goals and eight assists to pace all skaters with 11 points. Eiserman notched three goals and four assists for seven points. Bednarik also has major international experience, as he joined Hutson and Eiserman to help lead Team USA to a silver medal at the 2024 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, recording five points (2g, 3a) in seven games.
Knowling, a Chicago native, is currently a goaltender for the U.S. National Under-18 Team. He led the United States to gold at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and most recently shined at the CHL-USA Prospects Challenge, making 42 saves in a 4-2 win over the CHL Prospects on Nov. 25.
