The Boston University men's lacrosse team will continue its 12th season on Tuesday when the Terriers host Brown at Nickerson Field. The game time has been moved up to 2 p.m., due to anticipated below-freezing conditions at night.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU improved to 2-0 with a convincing 15-6 win over Monmouth on Friday in their home opener.
- Junior Jimmy Kohr scored a career-best six goals and added two assists for a career-high eight points.
- Kohr scored five of his six goals in the first half, including a highlight-reel BTB finish, and came one goal shy of matching the program record for goals in a game.
- Senior Jimmy O'Connell set new career highs in goals (3), assists (3) and points (6) in the win.
- Kohr and O'Connell combined for eight of the Terriers' 10 goals in the first half and did not turn the ball over once in the victory.
- Freshman Timothy Shannehan scored two goals and added a career-best four assists for his first-ever six-point performance.
- No rookie in program history has recorded more points through two games than Shannehan, who has tallied six goals and five assists for 11 points.
- Junior Matt Freeman matched a program record with six caused turnovers and he also added four ground balls in Friday's win over Monmouth.
- Senior Will Barnes is first in the PL and third in the NCAA with a 5.48 goals-against average.
- He is also second in the PL and seventh in the NCAA with a .643 save percentage.
- BU enters Tuesday ranked sixth in the NCAA and second in the Patriot League in scoring defense, allowing just 6.50 goals per game.
- The Terriers are also third in the nation and first in the PL with 12.50 caused turnovers per game
SERIES HISTORY
- BU has faced Brown just twice, including a 16-10 victory last year in Providence.
- The Terriers hosted the Bears at Nickerson in 2021, with Brown earning a 12-5 win.

SCOUTING BROWN
- The Bears began their 2025 campaign under new head coach Jon Torpey with an 11-5 home loss to Fairfield on Saturday.
- Junior Luke Dellicicchi scored twice for Brown while senior Spencer Hughes tallied one goal and one assist.
- Junior Ben Scandone and junior Marcus Wertheim also found the back of the net.
- Seven different Bears had one caused turnover, led by Charlie Cave with two.
- Sophomore Connor Foley led Brown with four ground balls in addition to making 10 saves.Â
- Senior Dash Sachs (5-for-12) and sophomore Henry Brayer (4-for-8) took the faceoffs for Brown, with each specialist securing two ground balls.
- The Bears return 93% of their point production from last year, including senior Aidan McLane, who led Brown in goals (34) and points (40) a season ago but failed to record a point against Fairfield.
