The No. 8 Boston University men's ice hockey team will look to win a record 32nd Beanpot title when the Terriers face No. 1 Boston College in the championship game of the 72nd Dunkin' Men's Beanpot on Monday night at TD Garden. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

BEANPOT NOTES
- BU boasts an all-time Beanpot record of 95-48 (.662), including a 30-17 (.630) record against the Eagles.
- The teams last met at TD Garden in the 2024 Hockey East title game, which BC won, 6-2.
- BU beat BC, 4-3, in the opening round of last year's Beanpot.
- The Terriers are 12-10 against the Eagles in Beanpot title tilts, though the teams have not played each other for a Beanpot title since 2016.
- The Terriers have won 31 of the previous 71 Beanpot tournaments.
- After winning the Beanpot just once in the '50s, BU has won it 30 times in the last 59 years, including 14 of the past 30.
- The second-most successful school in the tournament is BC, which has won the coveted trophy 20 times, followed by Harvard (11) and defending champion Northeastern (9).
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU enters Monday having dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at Merrimack on Friday.
- Sophomore Jack Harvey extended his point streak to three games with his eighth goal of the season, assisted by Cole and Quinn Hutson, who also extended their respective point streaks to three games.
- Quinn has totaled seven points in the last three games, notching a goal and an assist in Monday's win over Harvard and recording his third career hat trick as part of a four-point night in a 7-2 triumph over UNH on Jan. 31.
- He is one of just five players in the NCAA with 16 goals and 16 assists.
- Cole has notched a point in nine of his last 11 games, totaling five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in that span.
- He leads all NCAA freshmen defensemen as well as all Hockey East defensemen, regardless of class, in goals (7), assists (20) and points (27).
- Freshman goaltender Mikhail Yegorov is slated to start Monday's championship game.
