
Men's Lacrosse Set for Friday's Home Opener Against Siena

The No. 16/17 Boston University men's lacrosse team will host Siena at Nickerson Field on Friday for the Terriers' home opener. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
This game was originally scheduled for Saturday but was moved up due to forecasted inclement weather on Saturday. Both lacrosse teams will now play at Nickerson Field on Friday, as the women's lacrosse team's season opener against New Hampshire is scheduled for 12 p.m. Tickets for Saturday's originally scheduled game will be good for Friday's contest. Friday's game will also be streamed on ESPN+.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU enters Friday having lost at No. 2/3 Syracuse, 13-6, in Sunday's season opener.
- Sophomore Timothy Shannehan scored two goals while senior Jimmy Kohr notched one goal and one assist.
- Freshman Peyton Forte and senior Ethan Hart both scored their first collegiate goals while junior LSM Donald Varnerin also found the back of the net.
- Sophomore Andrew Pape assisted on Forte's goal.
- Senior Connor Kehm and junior Jackson Matthews led BU with two caused turnovers apiece, with Kehm also matching sophomore Madden Murphy with five ground balls.

- BU and Siena faced off for the first time last season, with the Terriers earning a 9-7 road win to open their 2025 campaign.
- Timothy Shannehan scored four goals and Will Barnes made 12 saves to lead the Terriers.
- Jimmy Kohr scored two goals, Jimmy O'Connell notched a goal and an assist, and freshman Ben Morris and junior Charlie Huntley also found the back of the net.

- Junior attack Patrick Radomski was a preseason All-MAAC selection after he totaled 32 goals and 15 assists for 47 points last season.
- Senior midfielder Travis Fry earned preseason All-MAAC accolades after scoring 28 goals a year ago.
- Senior defensive midfielder Liam Lennon received preseason All-MAAC honors after totaling 18 ground balls and seven caused turnovers in 2025.
- Sophomore faceoff specialist Logan Banek, the 2025 MAAC Rookie of the Year, earned preseason All-MAAC honors; he won 59.9% of his draws and gathered 139 ground balls last year.
- Siena does not have a goalkeeper with any collegiate playing experience on the roster.
