Made his collegiate debut at the Lehigh Paul Short Invite running a personal best time of 25:26.9 in the open 8K.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Ran track and cross country at Semiahmoo Secondary and with the Ocean Athletics club ... As a senior, was the Champion in the Provincial and High School 3K ... Became the high school and club Champion in the 1500m with a time of 3:55.20 ... As a junior, became the Provincial Cross Country Champion ... As a freshman, picked up Provincial Champion titles in the 3K, 1500m, 1200m and 2000m ... Became the 2000m National Champion.
