Dan Ryan joined Boston University men's basketball head coach Joe Jones' staff as video coordinator during the summer of 2019.
He most recently served as director of basketball operations at Belmont for the 2018-19 season that saw the Bruins claim the Ohio Valley Conference title and an NCAA victory over Temple. Responsibilities included creating video edits and written reports for the coaching staff. He was elevated to the position after serving as a graduate assistant during the 2017-18 season.

Prior to joining Belmont, Ryan was a three-year student manager at Illinois State. He was involved with breakdown of game and practice film while assisted with stats and other clerical work. He graduated with a bachelor’s in university studies and later earned his master of sports administration at Belmont.
