CB Sands-Bohrer

CB Sands-Bohrer joined the Terriers' Lightweight rowing staff in 2015, bringing over 30 years of rowing and coaching experience to the program. In addition to working with the BU Lightweight Women, CB coaches with Cambridge Boat Club's Jr Boys and Girls summer team which has won and medaled in several events at Club Nationals and Canadian Henley. She also leads Coaching Development for all coaches at Community Rowing. She has been a guest coach at Craftsbury Rowing Center and an Assistant coach for the Union Boat Club competitive summer boys program.

CB is an eight-time National Team member, winning gold at the World Championships in the lightweight double sculls in 1986 and 1989 and bronze in 1984 and 1987. CB was inducted into the National Rowing Foundation Hall of Fame in 1997 and recognized again by the NRF in 2000. CB has won the Grand Master 2x at the Head of the Charles for several years.  CB graduated with a degree in Economics from Smith College where she stroked the lightweight 8+ to Eastern Sprints Gold and was inducted into the Smith Athletic Hall of fame.  She received her MBA from INSEAD in France.
