After pitching 4.1 no-hit innings against No. 5 national seed Florida in front of a national television audience, sophomore Ali DuBois has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

The two-time Patriot League Pitcher of the Year went toe-to-toe with two-time SEC Pitcher of the Year Kelly Barnhill in a pitchers’ duel that saw the two-time defending SEC champion Gators eventually pull away in the fifth with three runs off all four of their hits. DuBois helped BU become the first non-major conference opponent this season to hold Florida below five hits.

In just two years, DuBois has pitched BU to a pair of NCAA appearances while earning back-to-back NFCA All-Region First Team honors. She ended the season with 201 strikeouts, seventh most in program history, while increasing her career total to 393, just 20 shy of No. 5 Robyn Horrick ('02). She also ranks tied-for-fourth all-time with 51 wins alongside BU Hall of Famer Shannon Downey (’93).
