VISTAL, N.Y. ??? The Boston University women???s cross country team won the America East Championship for the second consecutive year on Saturday at Binghamton University. Marisa Ryan (Farmington, Conn.) led the Terriers, placing second overall with a time of 18:28. Placing second for the team was Abbey Sadowski (Voluntown, Conn.), fourth overall, with a time of 18:42.7. The Terriers have won nine of the last ten and 14 of the 17 total America East championships.

Christine Laakso (Fitchburg, Mass.) finished eighth overall and third for BU with a time of 18:55.4. Jessica Cickay (Newtown, Pa.) followed in 12th place with a time of 19:05.6. Finishing the scoring for the Terriers was Claire Robson (Durham, U.K.), placing 14th overall with a time of 19:09.2.

Ryan, Sadowski and Laakso were named to the women???s all-conference team, for their top-10 finishes at the conference championships.
