Boston University swimmer Brigette O'Shaughnessy earned America East Women's Swimming Performer of the Week honors, and Tess Waresmith and Andre Watson swept the diving awards, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
O'Shaughnessy (Carlsbad, Calif.) won two events in the Terriers' win over Syracuse on Saturday. O'Shaughnessy led the women's team taking the 200 individual medley in two minutes, 8.82 seconds and the 200 breaststroke in 2:21.89.
Watson (Hempstead, N.Y.) was the top male diver for the Terriers' winning the one- and three-meter boards with scores of 291.37 and 315.76, respectively.
Waresmith (Dover, Mass.), a transfer from the University of Miami, was the top female diver for the squad winning the one- and three-meter boards with scores of 267.53 and 293.62, respectively.
