BOSTON - Senior Eve Kinsella claimed first place in two individual events in BU's convincing 148-93 victory over UMass on Saturday to earn GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of Week honors. Kinsella was victorious in the 200 individual medley (2:07.41), an event she holds the school record in, and the 100 freestyle (52.82). In addition, she also swam the last leg of the 400-medley relay team, which clocked the fastest time of the day (3:32.80).

Since arriving at BU, Kinsella has helped rewrite the school record book as she now owns individual marks in the 200 free and 200 IM, and is a member of the record-breaking 200- and 800-free relay teams as well as the 400-medley relay team. She was the 2007-08 team MVP after winning one individual conference championship (200 IM) and swimming a leg of the winning 400-medley and 800-free relay teams. In addition, she was named the Most Outstanding Female Swimmer of the Meet at the conference championship.
