BOSTON - Sophomore Francine Whu earned GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors after being named the Most Outstanding Performer at the 2008 America East Championships. She won both of her singles matches as well as a doubles match to lead BU to its 15th straight, and 19th overall, league crown on Sunday.

Whu played first singles and first doubles all weekend and claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win over Stony Brook and a 7-5, 6-3 victory against Binghamton while partnering with freshman Vanessa Steiner for an 8-2 win against the Seawolves.

The Terriers will make their 10th consecutive trip to the NCAAs on the weekend of May 9-10.
