Terriers Compete with Wisconsin for Jablonic Cup

BOSTON - In the team's final dual regatta of the season, Boston University men's crew raced Wisconsin for the Jablonic Cup with MIT on the Charles River Sunday morning. The Terrier JV and freshman eights finished second in their races.

Racing in a cross to mostly straight tailwind, the crews fought a moderate chop throughout and rain in the last two races. The No. 3 Badgers won the cup for the third straight year in a time of 5:43, ahead of MIT (5:54.5) and BU (5:55.5).

The JV and freshman eights placed second in their respective races, with the third varsity finishing third in the second varsity race.

The Terriers will take the next two weeks to prepare for the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 18.
