BOSTON – The Boston University men's rowing program opened its first day of racing the 60th Head of the Charles on Saturday (Oct. 18).
The Grand Master Eights of the DeWolfe Rowing Club opened the day with a 28th-place finish (18:27.340). BU's Alumni 8+ boat came in ninth with a time of 15:08.222, while the Alumni 4+ finished in 16:58.976, good for fourth overall.
In the Club 4+, BU finished fifth with a time of 16:45.337. The Terriers were the third out of the collegiate boats, finishing only behind Dartmouth and Harvard. The Club 8+ crossed the line in 15:11.051, good for 13th.
