BOSTON - Senior Eve Kinsella picked up three individual wins and junior Brigette O'Shaughnessy won two races, as the Boston University women's swimming and diving team defeated Northeastern, 202-97, and New Hampshire, 192-107, in a tri-meet on Saturday afternoon.

O'Shaughnessy got things started for the Terriers, winning the 1,000 freestyle in 10 minutes, 18.02 seconds - just five tenths off the school record. She later won the 500 free in 5:04.84 and placed second only to Kinsella in the 200 IM in 2:11.11. Kinsella continued in her winning ways this season with victories in the 200 free (1:54.23), 100 free (53.25) and 200 IM (2:09.85).

Also picking up an individual win was junior Emily Munday in the 100 fly (58.67) as well as Kirsten Tullis in the 200 breast (2:23.07). Connors also earned second-place honors in the 100 fly with a time of 58.85.

In the diving events, senior Tess Waresmith was victorious on the 1M (290.15) and 3M (326.70).

The 400-free relay team of sophomores Maria McIntyre, Emily Munday, Kirsten Tullis and Sarah Doersam capped things off with a victory, touching the wall first.

BU will host Dartmouth on Sunday (Jan. 18) at 1:30 p.m. at Competition Pool.
