Orono, Maine - The Boston University swimming and diving programs swept Maine on Saturday afternoon as the men's squad defeated the Black Bears, 200-88, while the women won by a 188.5-111.5 margin. The Terriers were led by Daniel Kempf and Eve Kinsella with three individual wins apiece.

On the women's side, the 200-medley relay team opened things up with a victory, as Emily Munday, Clara Van Allen, Joanna Weinstein and Brigette O'Shaughnessy clocked a winning time of one minute. 52.83 seconds.

Eve Kinsella had a big afternoon with three individual wins in three different strokes, beginning with the 100 back (1:00.60), followed by the 200 breast (2:26.50) and finishing with the 100 fly (58.97). O'Shaughnessy was also a multiple-event winner as she was victorious in the 50 free (25.03) and the 200 back (2:09.32). Sarah Doersam won the 1,000 free (10:41.47) and later picked up second place behind O'Shaughnessy in the 50 free (25.77).

Sarah Colton took first in the one- and three-meter boards with scores of 258.00 and 253.43, respectively.

After leading off the 200 medley relay, Munday switched to individual races and won the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.57, while Kirsten Tullis won the 100 free in 53.99. Christina Ruggiero closed out the individual races with a win in the 200 IM (2:12.64).

The 400 free relay completed the afternoon with a winning time of 3:39.22. Doersam was the lead off leg, followed by Kinsella, Van Allen and Munday.

On the men's side, Kempf had a standout meet, winning the 50 free in 21.59, the 100 free in 47.92 and the 200 free in 2:02.30. In the 50 free race, Kempf led a sweep as Ben Smith and Justin Gilmartin took second and third with times of 22.37 and 22.56, respectively.

Arik Seiler won the 200 back in 1:57.32 and later claimed first in the 100 fly 52.48. In the latter, Mark Nakanishi and Peter Lo took second and third with times of 53.89 and 56.22.

Five more Terriers earned a victory on Saturday afternoon, as Tyson Slesnick (1,000 free, 10:08.68), Nakanishi (200 free, 1:48.74), Ben Kaiser (100 back, 57.00), Lo (100 breast, 1:01.86) and Bryon Kallert (200 fly, 1:59.77) proved the fastest in the pool in their respective races.

The 200-medley relay and 400 free relay bookended the meet with wins for the Terriers.
