Men's Tennis Falls at Bryant, 5-2

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Competing in its first dual match of the season, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at Bryant, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon. Freshmen Jarred Pendleton and Andrei Stern led the Terriers with singles victories.

The Bulldogs started the day by winning two of the three doubles matches. After splitting the first two, Connor Crowley and Dana Parziale defeated Alex Green and Andrei Stern, 8-6, to earn the doubles point.

In singles action, only one match went three sets, as Stern pulled out a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 win at No. 5. Pendleton defeated Nicholai Hill, 6-4, 6-1, for BU's second point of the day.

The Terriers will next play at Holy Cross on Wednesday (Oct. 20) at 4 p.m.
