The Boston University men's tennis team lost two tiebreakers in doubles action to fall behind but recorded a sweep in singles to defeat Bryant University, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. With the win, the Terriers improve to 2-4 on the season, while the Bulldogs drop to 3-5.
Jeff Chudacoff and Josh Friedman won the top doubles match with an 8-5 win over Nicholai Hill/Juan Martin Paredes. Bryant took the doubles point through by capturing the tie breaker in the other two contests.
Regis Chang quickly tied the score by defeating Andres Orobitig, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 6. Bill Kring, Alex Hallenbeck and Jeff Chudacoff added three more points with two set victories.
Friedman and James Bernstein completed the singles sweep in three sets at No. 2 and 5, respectively.
The Terriers will next host UMBC in an America East match-up on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m.
