PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Kicking off a five-match road trip, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Brown on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears swept through doubles and captured all six singles points in straight sets to improve to 10-6, while the Terriers fell to 6-4.
Sophomore Chanon Varapongsittikul led BU with 12 games at No. 2 singles, as he battled Michael Hill to two tiebreakers. Hill came out ahead by the slimmest of margins in a 7-6(5), 7-6(4) victory.
The Terriers will next play at Marist on Saturday, April 6, with action set to begin at 2 p.m.
