BOSTON - The Boston University women's soccer team honors its eight seniors on Sunday afternoon when American comes to Nickerson Field for the Terriers final regular season home contest at 2 p.m. BU (10-4-3, 4-1-2 PL) looks to keep its momentum going against the Eagles (3-13-0, 0-7-0 PL), who have yet to win a conference game.

The 2014 seniors include all four captains, Kai Miller, a back from Carpinteria, Calif., Alyssa Parisi, a goalkeeper from Camarillo, Calif., Jamie Turchi, a midfielder from Santa Margarita, Calif. and Ariana Aston, a back from East Setauket, N.Y. The other four seniors are forwards Taylor Krebs (Dove Canyon, Calif.), Ana Cuffia (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Dara DeMatteo (Atlanta, Ga.) and midfielder Katherine Lim (Piedmont, Calif.).

The Terriers will be defending the nation's longest active unbeaten streak of home conference matches. BU has not lost a single league match at home since 2007, a 30-game span.

After defeating top-ranked Colgate on Wednesday, BU is still in contention for the Patriot League regular season title. The Terriers are two points behind Navy and Colgate, who are now tied for first, however Boston U. has beaten both teams, so BU would trump either team in the case of a tie.

American is in last place in the conference having neither won nor tied any Patriot League opponent this season. The Eagles are on a nine-game losing skid after opening the season 3-4-0, with wins against Mount St. Mary's, Delaware State and, most recently, Howard.

Sunday will be the third time the two teams have faced off and the second time on Nickerson Field as the Eagles made their way up north for a match in 2010. The Terriers have yet to lose against American and most recently claimed a 1-0 overtime win when the pair met last year for the first time as conference foes.

Lindsay Muri is the player to look out for, as she leads the team with five goals and 12 points. Michaela Garcia and Marley Jennings are the only other players with multiple goals this year, each scoring two.

Charlene Belanger has spent the majority of minutes in goal for American and has a record of 2-10-0. She has a 1.78 goals against average and .728 save percentage, having allowed 22 past her this season.

The Terriers look to continue their momentum into this matchup after besting both Colgate and the elements this past Wednesday. BU took a decisive 2-0 victory over the Raiders in hurricane-like conditions, with torrential rain and winds up to 25 miles per hour.
