HANOVER, N.H. - Facing its first ranked opponent of the season, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at No. 63 Dartmouth, 7-0, on Friday evening.
Winning all three doubles matches and six singles points in straight sets, the Big Green improve to 7-1, while the Terriers drop to 1-4.
Sophomore Stefan Lemire led BU in singles with the most games won at seven in a 6-3, 6-4 loss at No. 3. Freshman Jay Leelavanich's season-opening nine-match win streak came to an end, as he dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision in the No. 6 slot.
The Terriers will next open a three-match homestand with Merrimack on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 12 p.m.
