KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Boston University golf team concluded its fall season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Charleston at Turtle Point Golf Course.
BU finished 18th in the three-day tournament with a 54-hole score of 933. The Terriers combined for a 310 in the final two rounds after a 313 on Sunday.
Freshman Megan Carter (79-78-75) carded three straight scores in the 70s to finish tied for 63rd with a total of 232. Sophomore Phyllis Tang (75-72-86) fired an even-par 72 on Monday thanks to a birdie on 18 to enter the final round tied for 13th, but she ultimately finished tied with Carter at 232.
Junior Adela Cejnarova shot a 235 (79-80-76), while senior Emily Tillo totaled a 240 (82-80-78). Tillo's classmate, Maddy Silverman, finished with a 243 (80-82-81).
The Terriers will not compete again until Feb. 28, when they return to Kiawah Island for a three-day tournament to begin the spring schedule.
