Junior Emily Tillo recorded a top-10 finish to help lead the Boston University golf team at the University of North Florida Intercollegiste this past weekend, held at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.

Playing in her hometown, Tillo fired a one-under 71 on Tuesday to move into a tie for sixth for the tournament. She finished with three rounds under 70 and a total score of 222 (74-77-71), just five strokes behind the winner. Tillo has recorded five straight rounds in the 70s and has also collected a hole-in-one this spring.

As a team, BU finished 11th with a 54-hole total of 944 (318-311-315). Freshman Phyllis Tang was tied for 35th with a score of 234 (75-81-78) while senior Kristyna Pavlickova also placed in the top 50 (83-74-80). Sophomore Adela Cejnarova and senior Flor Canedo each carded a 254.

The Terriers will stay in Jacksonville and face North Florida on Thursday.
