J.P. Avila, the Boston University men's tennis team fell in a doubleheader at Brown (5-2, 7-0) on Saturday afternoon.

MATCH NOTES
- In the first match, Brown won the doubles point by posting a pair of 6-0 scores in the top two slot and claiming a 6-4 victory at line 3 against seniors Jake De Vries and Mario Sandoval.
- The Bears then captured the top four singles points in straight sets with sophomore Satyajit Simhadri winning the most games at line 3 in a tightly-contested 6-4, 6-4 loss.
- Freshman J.P. Avila led BU a dominating 6-2, 6-3 win in the No. 6 slot, and De Vries rallied for a 2-6, 7-5, 10-7 victory at line 5.
- In the second match, Brown swept through doubles with identical scores of 6-3 and then claimed all six singles points in straight sets.
