BOSTON – Continuing a five-match homestand, the Boston University men's tennis team will host Bryant on Sunday with doubles action set to begin at 11 a.m.
The Terriers (2-1) opened the dual season with back-to-back 7-0 sweeps over Siena and Southern New Hampshire. They then dropped a hard-fought 4-3 decision to Quinnipiac.
Freshman Marc Sable leads BU with three singles wins, while freshman J.P. Avila, senior Lucas Bombonatti, senior Mario Sandoval and senior Jake De Vries all have three victories apiece.
They will face a Bryant squad that is looking to snap a four-match losing streak. The Bulldogs opened with a 4-3 win against Binghamton but followed with losses to Dartmouth, Indiana, Harvard and Brown by a combined score of 22-3.
BU and Bryant will meet for the first time since the Bulldogs claimed a 6-1 win at home in 2014. The Terriers last won at home in 2013 by an identical score of 6-1.
