FRESNO, Calif. - The Boston University golf team continued its spring season at the Fresno State Classic on Monday and Tuesday, hosted at the San Joaquin Country Club.
BU combined for a 54-hole score of 921 (308-305-308) to finish 11th in a 12-team field. Senior
Adela Cejnarova carded three rounds in the 70s to finish tied for 17th at 225 (74-75-76) and lead the Terriers.
Junior
Phyllis Tang also finished in the top 30, placing in a tie for 27th with a 229 (74-74-81). Freshman
Zhangcheng Guo totaled a 232 (80-76-76) thanks to back-to-back rounds of 76 to close the tournament. Sophomore
Megan Carter's best 18-hole score was a 76 in Tuesday's final round en route to a 241 (85-80-76), which tied her with freshman
Abby Parsons (80-81-80), who also recorded a 241. Freshman
Saeros Oskarsdottir competed as an individual and shot a 269 (90-90-89).
The Terriers will return to competition on March 25 when they begin the three-day, 54-hole Babs Steffens Invitational.
