BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Due to inclement weather, the Patriot League Championship Round featuring the defending champion Boston University softball team and top-seed Lehigh at Leadership Park has been postponed to Sunday morning.

First pitch is currently set for 10 a.m., but the time is tentative and could possibly be moved up in an attempt to beat more rain. A final decision on the start time will be made tonight.

The 2014 and 2016 PL champion Terriers advanced directly to the championship round by defeating Army, 6-1, on Thursday afternoon and then the Mountain Hawks, 14-7, on Friday afternoon. Lehigh bounced back from its loss to BU with a seventh-inning two-run blast to eliminate the Black Knights, 5-3, on Friday evening.

BU has won both PL tournament games against Lehigh at Leadership Park, including the 2016 semifinals, but the Mountain Hawks are 6-0 all-time against BU at home during regular-season matchups.
