BOSTON – Thanks to five straight-set victories, the Boston University women's tennis team defeated Binghamton, 7-0, on Sunday at the Track and Tennis Center.
The Terriers dropped just one set in singles and won all three doubles matches to remain unbeaten (4-0) at home this season..

MATCH NOTES
- The Terriers opened the match by dropping just four games at doubles.
- Junior Remi Ramos and freshman Lily Burchell earned a 6-1 win at line 1 while freshmen Katya Martens and Dani Blaser won by the same score at line 3.
- Freshman Emily Kim and senior Iryna Kostirko picked up a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles.
- Ramos was terrific at No. 2 singles as she swept her opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
- Kostirko also had a 6-0 victory in her match before she took the next set by a 6-3 score at line 1.
- Burchell (#3) and junior Sophia Kryloff (#6) each earned 6-4, 6-4 singles wins.
- Martens dropped just four games in a 6-1, 6-3 triumph at No. 5 singles.
- Kim battled back from a first-set loss to win the final two sets 6-3, 6-1, and claim the point at No. 4 singles.
- The Terriers have swept their last last three home matches against Binghamton, Holy Cross and Bryant.

- The Terriers will head to Norfolk, Virginia, on March 23 and 24 for matches against host Old Dominion (Friday) and North Texas (Saturday).
