FULLERTON, Calif. – Concluding its spring break trip in California, the Boston University women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at Cal State Fullerton on Friday afternoon.
The Titans (11-2) won all three doubles matches for the first point and then claimed the top three singles points against the Terriers (5-7). BU won the first set of the other three singles matches, but they were left unfinished one CSUF clinched the team victory.

MATCH NOTES
- The Titans won in doubles at lines 1 and 3 by an identical score of 6-0.
- Senior Iryna Kostirko and freshman Emily Kim came up just short with a 7-5 loss at line 2.
- Kostirko won her first set at No. 1 singles, but Sarah Nuno rallied for a 1-6, 6-0, 6-2 win.
- CSUF won the other two singles matches at lines 2 and 3 in straight sets.
- Kim (#4), freshman Katya Martens (#5) and sophomore Lily O'Fagan (#6) all won their respective first set before their contests were halted.
NEXT UP: BINGHAMTON
- The Terriers will fly back home and next host Binghamton on Sunday, March 18, at 10 a.m.
- BU is 3-0 this season at home.
