BLOOMFIELD, Conn. - The Boston University golf team teed off at the Hartford Invitational on Saturday at Tumble Brook Country Club.

BU ended the day in fourth place thanks to a team score of 309. Fairleigh Dickinson paced the 10-team field with a total of 298.

Sophomore Zhangcheng Guo led the Terriers with a three-over 75 to finish tied for eighth. Junior Megan Carter and freshman Katerina Doleckova both fired a 77 to tie for 18th. Sophomore Abby Parsons carded an 80 and senior Phyllis Tang shot an 81.

With Sunday's second round officially canceled, BU will next take aim at the Patriot League Championship, which begins on Saturday, April 21, at Navy.
