BOSTON – Freshman 
Ali DuBois recorded a combined 16 strikeouts and two senior outfielders tallied three RBIs apiece to help the Boston University softball team extend the win streak to 11 games with a home doubleheader sweep over Lafayette.
Senior 
Jilee Schanda went 2-of-2 with two runs and a two-RBI double in the 7-2 game-one win over Lafayette (7-34, 3-11 PL), and classmate 
Emma Wong went an identical 2-of-2 with two runs and three RBIs for the 9-0 game-two victory.
GAME 1: BU 7, Lafayette 2
	- Senior Brittany Younan singled to left and was followed by Wong's walk to immediately put Lafayette under pressure.
 
	- With two outs in the first, Schanda doubled to right center and then eventually scored on junior Emily Morrow's double down the left field line for the 3-0 advantage.
 
	- Pitcher Alex Randall (5-14) tried to help her own cause with a two-run blast to left in the second against DuBois, but the Leopards would never manage to advance a runner past second the rest of the game.
 
	- In the fourth, the Terriers added three runs off three hits, including senior Kaitlin Sahlinger's double and Younan's single.
 
	- Schanda added one more insurance run in the fifth by tripling to right center and scoring on junior Alexa Ponce's RBI grounder.
 
	- Sophomore Lizzie Annerino replaced DuBois in the sixth and held the Leopards to three hits during the final two innings to seal the 7-2 victory.
 
GAME 2: BU 9, Lafayette 0 (5 inn.)
	- The Terriers again jumped out ahead in the first inning, this time scoring two runs with the help of two walks, a wild pitch, passed ball and throwing error.
 
	- BU took advantage of another Lafayette miscue in the second with Wong's two-out infield RBI single to extend the lead to 3-0.
 
	- Junior Madi Killebrew was hit by a pitch to start the third and was followed by Schanda's RBI triple and Ponce's RBI single.
 
	- With the bases loaded, Younan hit a sacrifice fly out to left to advance the runners before Wong hit a two-RBI double to left center.
 
	- Junior Alex Heinen then singled up the middle to put the lead at 9-0.
 
	- Seven of the Leopards' final nine outs came by way of strikeout against DuBois for the second loss of the day.
 
DOUBLEHEADER NOTES
	- The Terriers are now 14-0 all-time in the series and have outscored the Leopards, 85-12, with six shutouts in the last eight contests.
 
	- All three of Schanda's hits went extra bases with two triples and a double.
 
	- Schanda's seven triples this season are tied-for-third all-time and are just two behind No. 2 Younan (9) ... Younan ranks fourth in the career record book with 17 total, while Schanda is seventh at 13.
 
	- DuBois' 21 wins this season are tied with BU Hall of Famer Audrey West ('95) at No. 6 in the BU record book ... West had 27 in both 1994 and 1996.
 
	- With three runs scored, Wong moved into a tie-for-10th in the BU record book with Rachel Hebert ('10) at 114 runs.
 
NEXT UP: LAFAYETTE
	- The Terriers will wrap up the weekend series against the Leopards on Sunday (April 22) at 12 p.m.
 
	- BU is currently first in the PL standings at 9-2 with Bucknell looming behind at 11-3.
