BOSTON - After earning its first road win of the season, the Terriers will return to Nickerson Field to open up a Soc'toberFest doubleheader on Saturday, kicking the day off against Loyola Maryland at 1 p.m.

The second annual Soc'toberFest will once again be making its way to Nickerson Field. Fans can receive free warm pretzels, apple cider, cider donuts and enjoy a cash bar. Additionally, there free pumpkin decorating and a BU Terriers cup giveaway.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • Anna Heilferty scored her first goal of the season in the 47th minute on Wednesday against Army, guiding BU to a 1-0 shutout.
  • Amanda Fay posted her third straight shutout in net, making two saves, and current ranks second in the Patriot League in saves per game (5.0) and sits third in save percentage (.811).
  • BU has not allowed a goal on Nickerson Field in 201 minutes of game play.
  • Nine different Terriers have found the back of the net this season, while 13 of 24 field players who have seen game action have registered at least one point.
  • The backline has locked in on opponents as conference play has started, limiting its three Patriot League opponents to just 9.3 shots per game compared to a 14.3 shots per game opponent average on the season.
SCOUTING LOYOLA
  • After staring the season 1-4, the Greyhounds are 4-1-1 over their last six games and stand an even 5-5-1 overall.
  • Senior Hannah Hoefs is the top scorer in the Patriot League, leading both in points (15) and goals (6).
  • Sarah Bayer is posting a breakout sophomore campaign and trails Hoefs in points (10) and goals (4).
  • Fellow sophomore Ariel Tillman and junior Claire Beath are the lone other Greyhounds who have found the back of the net this season.
  • Loyola also uses a two-goalkeeper rotation, as Lily Andres and Paige Sims each own over 500 minutes in net.
THE SERIES
  • BU stole a 1-0 victory in Baltimore last season, getting on the board thanks to an own goal in the 87th minute.
  • The Terriers hold a 7-1-1 command in the all-time series and have taken the last six matchups.
  • Five of nine contests have been one-goal decisions.
