HANOVER, N.H. – Highlighted by junior
David Bogatin's strong performance in singles action, the Boston University men's tennis team resumed the fall schedule over the weekend at the three-day Dartmouth Invitational.
The Terriers were represented by Bogatin, sophomore
Max Hartenstein, freshman
Kirill Belov and freshman
Jon-Kyle Tan. BU was joined by the host Big Green, Brown, Cornell, Bryant, Yale and Harvard.
Bogatin opened with a 6-0, 6-1 victory against Cornell and followed up with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Dartmouth. In his final match, he rallied from a set down to beat Yale, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.
The Terriers were victorious against a pair of Bulldogs in straight sets with Belov defeating Yale and Hartenstein beating Bryant.
BU will next compete at the ITA Regional Championships on Oct. 17-22 in Philadelphia, Pa.
