BOSTON – Continuing a six-game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit Atlantic 10 foe George Washington on Wednesday with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

• The Terriers will be facing their first Atlantic 10 opponent since claiming a 69-66 win at Fordham in the opening round of the 2016 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
• BU is 1-4 away from home this year with a 78-70 win at SEC member South Carolina ... The current losing streak started at West Virginia (69-44) and followed with a pair of losses last week in Cancun (Northern Colorado: 78-55, Tennessee Martin: 76-73).
• Senior Max Mahoney earned All-Mayan Division team honors at the Cancun Challenge after averaging a team-high 15.0 ppg in the two games ... He now ranks No. 26 all-time at BU with 1.090 points and averages 11.3 ppg with a team-high 7.0 rpg.
• Sophomore Walter Whyte remains the team leader in scoring at 13.4 ppg and steals at 11 while averaging 5.9 rpg.
• Whyte also owns 17 3-pointers, three more than former high school teammate Jonas Harper (8.0 ppg).
• Junior Javante McCoy (8.3 ppg) leads BU with 25 assists.

SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON

• Former Siena and Mount St. Mary's head coach Jamion Christian is in his first season at GW.
• Coming off a 74-65 loss at South Carolina, the Colonials are 1-2 at home with 76-62 win over Howard and closely-contested losses to both American (67-65) and Morgan State (68-64).
• GW went 2-1 at the Island of the Bahamas Showcase with wins over Milwaukee (66-63) and Evansville (78-70) along with a loss to Kansas City (78-74).
• Armel Potter is averaging a team-high 13.9 ppg with Jamison Battle (12.0 ppg) and Maceo Jack (10.3 ppg) also in double figures​​​ ... 6-foot-8 forward Arnaldo Toro is averaging a double-double at 12.3 ppg and 12.5 rpg but has missed the last four games due to injury.
