CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Patriot League announced Thursday that the American at Boston University men's basketball contest has been selected to air on CBS Sports Network as part of the League's television package. The matchup is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. and marks the penultimate home regular season contest for seniors

Adam Mikula.
The game is also part of the City of Boston Weekend at BU in which Beantown residents will receive complimentary admission to all three ticket Terrier events on campus for Feb. 22-23. For more information,

The Terriers and Eagles are currently in a tie for second in the conference standings at 9-4, two games behind defending Patriot League champion Colgate. Highlighted by its longest home win streak (six games) since 2012-13, BU owns an 8-3 record at The Roof. Mahoney is 66 points away from becoming the eight Terrier to reach 1,500 points, while junior
Javante McCoy is 20 away from becoming the 39th to reach 1,000.
During the 2019-20 season, CBS Sports Network will telecast 19 basketball games involving the Patriot League, including the 2020 Patriot League men's and women's basketball championship games. The Terriers are 1-1 so far with an 85-53 win at Loyola Maryland and 79-63 loss to Colgate in which they were trailing by five with five minutes remaining in regulation.
After hosting American, BU will have one home regular season game remaining against Bucknell on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 12 p.m.
