BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After sweeping the diving events at Holy Cross, Boston University senior Emily Balicanta has been named the Patriot League Diver of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The award marks the sixth all-time for the Pleasanton, California, native, after she claimed three total this past spring en route to 2021 Academic All-PL accolades.

She started off winning the 1-meter in a field of nine divers with a score of 262.05, topping the second-place finisher by 17.25 points. She then followed up in the 3-meter with a score of 273.53 to win her second event by 20.86 points.

The Terriers will next take to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 15, with a visit to Colgate for a 1 p.m. start time.
