Men's Tennis Ends Regular Season with 4-0 Win at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – In the final tuneup before the Patriot League tournament, the Boston University men's tennis team earned a 4-0 win at Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers (3-5, 1-2 PL) swept all three doubles matches for the first point and then captured three singles points in straight sets to defeat the Crusaders (0-6, 0-4 PL).

Senior David Bogatin teamed with freshman Johann Sajonz for a 6-2 win in the No. 2 doubles slot and followed up with an impressive 6-0, 6-0 singles victory at line 1.

Senior Owen Lu and freshman Jose Maria Robalino posted a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles and were leading their respective singles matches when play was halted. Robalino was also ahead in his singles match when senior Pete Siozios clinched the team victory on a 6-2, 6-3 win at line 3.

Siozios completed the doubles sweep in a 7-5 victory alongside freshman Tanisq Mallpani at line 3. Sajonz dropped just one game in a dominating 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.

The Terriers will next travel to Lehigh on April 23-25 for the PL tournament. Seeding for the event will be announced earlier in the week.
