ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Paced by a trio of top-six finishes on the final day of competition, the Boston University men's swimming & diving team finished in fifth place at the Patriot League Championships at Navy's Lejeune Pool. 

Freshman Dolan Grisbaum placed fourth in the 1650 freestyle in a time of 15:21.88, missing out on the podium by 0.90 seconds. Sophomore Jackson Olin was fifth in the 200 backstroke (1:47.82) and junior Kyle Farnsworth earned a sixth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (1:59.14).

BU finished in fifth place, matching their effort from the last league championship meet in 2020. The Terriers totaled 242.50 points, 41.50 ahead of sixth-place Lehigh.

Junior Sarsen Whatmore took 11th in the 200 backstroke (1:50.25) and senior Daniel Galante added a 12th-place effort in the 1650 freestyle (16:03.01). Senior Benjamin Brewer swam the 200 butterfly in 1:48.94, good for 11th. 

In the 200 breaststroke, freshman Andy Carlson finished 15th (2:03.61) while sophomore Justin Lee was 16th in the 100 freestyle (46.25).

The 400 medley relay was seventh as Olin, junior Jacob Lindner, Lee and junior Ethan Thomas finished in a time of 3:02.79
