WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Boston University men's tennis team started its weekend trip to the Keystone State with a 4-1 win over Colgate on Saturday afternoon at the Central PA Tennis Center.
Avenging last year's 4-3 loss to the Raiders (7-8, 1-3 PL), the Terriers (2-14, 1-1 PL) won two of the three doubles matches for the first point and then captured three singles points in straight sets.
Freshman

Dion Loutas all went a perfect 2-0 on the day to lead BU.
Colgate earned a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles, but Dickson and Loutas kept the doubles point up for grabs with a 7-5 victory in the No. 2 slot. Pawlowski and sophomore
Johann Sajonz battled to a tiebreaker and came out ahead, 7-6(5), for the 1-0 advantage.
Pawlowski put on a dominating performance at No. 4 singles, dropping just one game in the 6-0, 6-1 victory. Dickson cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win at line 1, and Loutas prevailed in his second-set tiebreaker for the 6-4, 7-6(4) win in the No. 2 slot.
BU will remain in Williamsport and next face Bucknell on Sunday (April 3) at 10 a.m.
